Willem Vriesendorp

is founder of #SustainablePublicAffairs. Previously, Willem was a partner at FIPRA where he led the Competition and the Environment practices and before that Willem worked as a qualified lawyer at Allen & Overy. Willem has a longstanding experience in public affairs and his competence has been recognised by both Best in Brussels and Mace Magazine who place him among the best public affairs consultants in the EU bubble. ​Willem is also selected by Politico as one of the 40 top influencers who are most effectively setting the agenda in politics, public policy and advocacy in Brussels.

Ellen Hof

is COO of #SustainablePublicAffairs and an expert in agri-food policy, supported by her scientific background in bioengineering. Previously Ellen was COO of the Brussels’ office of Hill+Knowlton Strategies and she worked at EuropaBio, the European association for biotech companies, before that.

Camille Vachet

is a qualified competition lawyer, trained in DG COMP and in several law firms. Camille was consultant in two European public affairs firms where she specialised in digital economy, working with Snapchat, Ubisoft, etc. that she assisted in developing communication and public relations strategies.

Leon De Graaf

has been at #SustainablePA since November 2020 where focuses on helping sustainable frontrunners in heavy industry and power decarbonisation. Prior to that he worked at BusinessEurope for five years, where he was responsible for getting the entire European industry behind the ambition of climate neutrality in early 2019, and where coordinated the organisation’s annual delegations to the UN climate negotiations (COP22-25).

Alex Braley

is an EU expert passionate about sustainability with experience of working in government and with the private sector. He previously held roles in the European Commission, the UK government (Mission to the EU, Foreign Office, Prime Minister’s Office) and the public affairs firm FIPRA International advising on environmental policy as well as on innovation, sustainable finance and EU public funding support.

Pauline Juricic​

is a convinced Europhile passionate about the current EU green transition. She joins #SustainablePublicAffairs after 4 years at Hill+Knowlton Strategies working as an account manager and two years at the EU association, UNESDA. She specialises in EU agriculture and food policies.

Dominika Floriánová

is a proud European passionate about the green transition with a background in international relations and communications. She joins #SustainablePublicAffairs from Rud Pedersen Public Affairs’ Brussels office where she worked on a range of climate and energy files, advising clients on EU policy as well as strategic communications. Prior to that, she also gained institutional experience as a trainee in the Press Office of the Council of the EU.

Henry Kaeding

is a political scientist and economist by training with work experience across Europe and the US. A German national, he specialises in the smart and sustainable built environment and the decarbonisation of heating. Before joining #SustainablePublicAffairs he organised events and coordinated research studies for the European Parliament at a Brusselsbased research network. Previously, Henry has worked for an international business development agency at the Belgian Consulate in New York, the Central Bank of the Federal Republic of Germany, and a Member of the European Parliament.

Cornelius Müller

is a convinced European with a background in Political Science. He joined #SustainablePublicAffairs after working in a political consultancy in Berlin, focusing on digital, financial and interior policies. Passionate about the intersection of business, politics and society, he supports sustainable frontrunners in their public affairs endeavours to advocate for ambitious circular economy policies at EU level.

Flora Wallace

is passionate about the power of EU legislation to drive forward the green transition. A member of the Build Back Better team, she also provides assistance on chemicals files. With a background in psychology and European studies, she joined us from the European Commission’s DG ENV where she worked primarily on EU plastic policies. She also has previous experience of EU circular economy and chemicals policy from her time at the public affairs firm Burson Cohn and Wolfe.

Sandrine Ackermans

is a Belgian native with a background in Applied Communication and Advertising. She is a born multitasker with an extensive experience in administration, accounting, HR and event coordination. Her experience working for various international companies, her contact-friendly, customer-oriented attitude, her positive and solution-mindedness make her an interesting fit to handle all Office Manager responsibilities at #SustainablePublicAffairs and #SustainableHub.

Claire Triquet

is a dedicated sustainability advocate with a background in European law and experience in European public affairs who is convinced of the power of innovation as the way forward to achieve the green transition. Before joining #SustainablePA, she worked on various aspects of the Fit for 55 initiative at a French consultancy, providing her with a solid understanding of the EU legislative and political system. Her current focus is on energy storage and decarbonisation of transport.

Anna Carbonell Labairu

has a background in law and public policy. She joins #SustainablePublicAffairs after completing her MSc in Public Policy and Administration from the London School of Economics and gaining experience in EU affairs as a Trainee at the European Commission’s DG INTPA. Before that, she worked as a qualified lawyer at a Spanish law firm.

Patricia Alonso

is a political scientist specializing in European politics. She is passionate about leveraging new technologies to build a more sustainable Europe. This passion led her to join the team at #SustainablePublicAffairs, where she supports leading innovators in the energy sector. Prior to #SPA, Patricia was part of the Sustainability team at SEC Newgate EU, managing clients in energy-intensive industries.

Prior to that, she gained institutional experience from an internship with a Member of the European Parliament in the ENVI committee, which introduced her to the dynamics of the EU policy landscape.

Sebastian Leitz

has a background in political science and public policy. With an MSc in Sustainability Science, Policy and Society, he joins #SustainablePublicAffairs after gaining valuable insights into EU-level advocacy through his work at a European public affairs agency. He also brings experience in international development, having advised on German development policy at GIZ and supported fundraising efforts for Quito’s environmental fund in Ecuador.

Jeanne Acar

is passionate about shaping impactful green policies in the EU. Before joining #SustainablePublicAffairs, she completed traineeships at the Belgian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Permanent Representation of Belgium to the EU. At #SustainablePublicAffairs, she focuses on agri-food and finance, eager to support sustainable frontrunners in these sectors.
